Survival Guide - Customer Service is related to your pay packet. not

Another item that used to seriously frustrate me overseas and in Tonga, is customer service.

First of all, do not walk around with serious expectations of customer service and you wont be seriously disappointed. If you seriously get upset at the local customer service you can either do nothing about it or you can walk out and take your business to somewhere with better service. If you don't do anything about it, don't complain because it doesn't improve without external stimulants.

But seriously, most of these customer service representatives probably get more money in the year from some relative overseas and are holding down jobs to be more respectable, so giving them a hard time is probably not going to improve their service nor improve their service to you.

Like most things in life, try to be gracious with your smiles and allow for a lot of time before whatever it was you wanted gets done.

Oh, and if it comes to servicing or fixing your car, just forget about it getting done correctly. I must have tried nearly all the major service facilities and my car wasn't for the better afterwards.
