Finally got RSS and ATOM working (somewhat) for those of you who don't want to waste browsing and know how to use news aggregators then head then use the links below:

http://www.nomoa.com/index.php?theme=rss or

http://www.nomoa.com/index.php?theme=atom

to read the latest updates to the main website.

I hear there's a way to invoke this feature with our forum, and I'll tell you all about it once I find out how.

The two free to use News Aggregators that I use are:

Abilon from http://www.abilon.org and

FeedReader from http://www.feedreader.com

Of course there are other ones out there and my favourite is

FeedDemon from http://www.bradsoft.com

What does this all mean ? Basically it means that if you had one of the tools above you could just have the software suck down the latest updates to any of the sites you visit regularly (including http://www.nomoa.com) without having to browse over there.

It also means that to get your latest news information from our Revenue Services department, all you need is to connect to http://www.revenue.gov.to/index.php?theme=rss

Here's how you would use RSS on a firefox browser: Go to-> Bookmarks ->Manage Bookmarks, then ->File ->New Live BookMark and enter the above rss URL on the Feed location. Once thats done you're able to see the new site updates listed as Bookmarks. N4

Dude,

You're beginning to scare me.

You're just too far ahead of the game on some of these things.

Great tip!!

Firefox rocks man ... Lately I've been playing around with the Web Developer's extn from http://chrispederick.com/work/firefox/webdeveloper/ Some really cool little apps there ... being able to disable images while surfing from work is a huge plus :-) I use to load up Photoshop just to use the web color-picker, http://www.iosart.com/firefox/colorzilla/ has a much cooler way of doing this right from firefox ... Cheers N4
