Aaahhhh, sometimes my wit escapes me, and sometimes people say I'm just witless.
Sunday's on the way, meet you at Telekava.
Saturday afternoon, on the eve of Mother's Day, I took my sun for a
walk while mother get some quality time with herself and her cleaning
and daughter was enjoying quality time with her pillow.
Normally its great fun to carry the little tike around, but he's
putting on the pounds and soon you will need Arnold Swatchkoff muscles
to carry him around, but just forget about trying it if he wants to get
down. He isn't ready for the Olympics yet, but he gets about fairly
well. We've dumped the walker quite a few months back and he's really
excited to be able to crawll around and stand up, sit down under his
own control.
Anyhow, walking with Sisitoutai see his Aunt Ma'ata and she's not home,
so we take a U-turn and think to try out Telekava Cemetary if they are
there. Wow, what a luck guess. Surprised, not surprised, when we got to
Telekava to see it looking a bee-hive with busy busy beezzz workers
buzzzing left right, up down as everyone (well a lot of people anyway)
are busy putting the final touches to their clean-up, flower change,
huo, ta'aki vao.
I need to get around a little bit more, but it was great to see friends
and family members at Telekava and I guess if we went back there on
Sunday, Mother's Day there will have been quite a few with lunch to
spend with their departed ones.
Well, finally got pictures from my brother of my mother on her mother's
day. We spoke to her that Saturday and she was excited to explain about
all the things that she had planned out, with family and friends, for
Mother's day (sounded a little tiring for me, but it'll be a while
before I'm a mother.)

Mum looked good with her continental breakfast, flowers and that special Kahoa Kula.

Dad looked like he was doing ok, although Sisitoutai Jnr must have some
genetic disposition towards his grandfather (bypassing the dad of
course 8-)

Absolutely nothing like spending special moments with friends, people
who care for you and people you love. The photos in their larger size,
and a few more, are over at Nomoa's Gallery Site, 2005 Mother's Day.
