A nice run through of inspiring Tongans from around the world (well, actually from around America, but inspiring none-the-less.)

Quite some positives on what we as a people can achieve, individually and corporately.

There's some good people over there, and if you've been around the web a little (as a Tongan) then at least two names on there will be familiar to you non-americans (non-LDS subscribers.)

Visit bTonga

If haven't found the link, here it is again.

The list of specials include:

* Master Artist of the Year
* Health Co-ordinator of the Year
* WORLDWIDE TONGAN NEWS OF THE YEAR
* YOUTH ORGANIZATION OF THE YEAR
* SPIRITUAL LEADER OF THE YEAR
* TONGAN EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR
Now, everyone loves making their own lists of what and where they think things should be, and this list is not only of good people doing good things, but it has also gone to the trouble of getting some interesting (inspiring?) information about these 'Tongans' contribution to your family in America.

Book mark the site, they're a little heavy on LDS stuff, but they have some good original writings about Tonga, Tongans. Talakeiola.

your right probably heavy on the LDS stuff is correct.. because maybe, the LDS folks in the US are heavy hitters in the US.

??

I guess they can't help it if they are successful, if that is what you mean by "heavy hitters".

The phrase is not meant as a slight on the work of the LDS community, just a comment as a generic Tonga site that the referenced site is more focused on the LDS community than just Tongans as a general category.

Wishing you all well.
