A couple of months back, our wonderful Vava'u Neighbours (of course I'm badly branding all Vava'u neighbours here) were revving their car at 3:00am while they were trying very badly to fix it. Since the operation had started earlier in the afternoon I couldn't figure out how dense they were not to have figured by this time in the morning that they had no clue in fixing cars. Suffice it to say that the neighbours were not leaving a good impression (and we weren't across their lawn like our other neighbours.)
1:30am Sunday morning and their pounding away at something that sounds like crushing Kava. Now, this is mildly annoying because it is an irregular thudding noise that you hear, but it isn't as bad as that earlier pxxs poor job on the car they were doing.
Just goes to show that even in paradise your neighbours can be annoying, just like on television.
