The Tonga Chronicle, weekly newspaper, mentions a huge funding program from the "Firepower Group" injecting near a $million dollars in unspecified 'stuff' to the national rugby team, 'Ikale Tahi. Where did these guys come from ?

Apparently Deputy President of the IRB, Bob Tukey, went to seek assistance from corporations and Tonga has been fortunate enough to find a benefactor in the Fire Power Group. You can read more about this Group of Companies on their website http://www.firepowergroup.com

Emirates Western Force

The Firepower Group is pleased to announce that Firepower will be a key sponsor for Perth's Super 14 Rugby team recently named the Emirates Western Force. Firepower will be igniting the Emirates Western Force into the first season of the expanded Super 12 competition now called Super 14 which kicks off in February 2006.
